Hibiscus syriacus 'Bluebird' is considered the best of the blue flowering Althea. This blue hibiscus tree plant features abundant, flashy violet-blue single blossoms that each have a dark eye in the middle. The Blue Althea makes an ideal 6 to 8 foot hedge or an awesome stand alone show piece.
