Chinese Pistache is one of our favorite ornamental trees due to its famous brilliant orange-crimson Fall color. Its umbrella-like crown and green lustrous leaves are very attractive throughout the growing season. Chinese Pistache is a moderate grower. It can reach a height of 25-40 feet and a width of 24-35 feet. Female Chinese Pistache trees will have red fruits that turn to a very attractive blue color. It is impossible to know a male Chinese Pistache Tree from a female until they reach fruiting maturity. These trees prefer full sun and well drained soil and can withstand heat and drought once established. We highly recommend buying our Chinese Pistache trees for sale for ornamental landscaping and especially for dramatic Fall color.

USDA Hardiness Zones
A hardiness zone is a geographic area defined by average annual minimum winter temperatures, helping gardeners determine which plants can survive in their region. Developed by the USDA, the 13 numerical zones indicate cold hardiness—for example, a plant "hardy to zone 10" tolerates minimum temperatures of 30 to 40 °F (−1.1 to 4.4 °C).
