The Red Rome Beauty apple is a medium-large, round apple with lovely red skin. It has a greenish-white, fine grained, juicy flesh that is used primarily for baking. The late beautiful blooms avoid any lingering spring frosts to ensure an abundant crop. The Red Rome Beauty Apple Tree ripens from September into October and is a good apple tree to use for cooking and for watching wildlife. Needs 700 chill hours and is self-fruitful.

USDA Hardiness Zones
A hardiness zone is a geographic area defined by average annual minimum winter temperatures, helping gardeners determine which plants can survive in their region. Developed by the USDA, the 13 numerical zones indicate cold hardiness—for example, a plant "hardy to zone 10" tolerates minimum temperatures of 30 to 40 °F (−1.1 to 4.4 °C).
