The Rising Sun™ Redbud tree is a new introduction that was primarily selected for its outstanding foliar display. The heart-shaped leaves emerge as deep apricot and mature into shades of tangerine, gold and yellow to a bright green. Throughout the Summer, new leaves appear which results in a perpetual mix of colors.
Finally, the leaves change into a nice yellow and orange Fall display. In early Spring, before the foliage emerges it puts on a show of abundant rosy-lavender pea-like flowers. The Rising Sun™ Redbud tree for sale grows 8 to 12 ft. tall and wide. It's considered a heat and drought tolerant variety and grows well in full or partial sun. The Rising Sun™ Redbud is an ideal specimen or accent tree.
