The Honeycrisp Apple has become increasingly popular in American grocery stores over the past few years. Primarily due to its explosive crisp texture and well-balanced sweet/tart flavor, it is said to be the "fun to eat apple". A relatively new patented variety, the Honeycrisp Apple has a texture similar to a crisp watermelon or Asian Pear. The fruit size is very large and predominantly red over a yellow background. Due to its popularity and outstanding attributes, Honeycrisp Apple trees will be in short supply--so order early to secure your honeycrisp trees. Honeycrisp trees ripens in late September, just before Red Delicious. The Honeycrisp Apple Tree requires a pollinator tree and approximately 800 chilling hours.
***Note: The greater the tree caliper, then the heavier the branch development. This relates to the maturity of the tree and how soon fruit production will begin. (A shorter stocky fruit tree is better than a taller skinny tree.)***
***LARGER B&B TREES MAY BE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.***
